Some bathrooms are cooler than others. Washrooms can be the most important room in an office or any other building. Below you will find a list of the coolest bathrooms around the globe.
One-way mirror/glass public toilet
Check out this amazing public bathroom in Houston, USA. Imagine you walk into the toilet that has mirrors outside and a transparent glass inside. I wouldn’t be able to get rid of the thought that someone may see me sitting on the toilet. Even though you know it is made out of one-way glass, it would still make you feel like being in a transparent box.
Some people have a feeling that they pee in a public space and everyone can see them. Try this bathroom, if you have no problem dealing with this fear. Imagine some girl fixing her hair in the mirror a child making faces at you, while you’re trying to pee. You just need to remind yourself, that they actually cannot see you.
Japanese are notorious for their extraordinary designs and home solutions. This impressive bathroom is located in one of the cafes in Akashi, Japan. Imagine using a bathroom with a giant sea turtle and other unusual sea creatures floating around. Café owners spent around $270,000 on this bathroom. This impressive investment seems to be attracting a lot of visitors to the café. Many people come just to see the bathroom.
Toilet for gamers
Here comes another Japanese invention. Sega Toylet is installed in most of the metro stations in Tokyo. Men can enjoy playing various games while peeing. Imagine using your pee stream to blast graffiti off the imaginary wall or measure the force of your stream. You can also compete with other players to see who has the strongest stream. I’m not sure why you need to know how strong your stream is, but I bet some men find this game amusing.
Pee like a king
I can only imagine how kings and queens lived centuries ago. I bet they had everything made of gold and precious stones. In 2001 one jewelry mogul from Hong Kong decided to follow the royal steps. He used around 380 kilos of pure gold and over six thousand precious and semi-precious stones to create one of the most expensive bathrooms in the world. I bet no one could afford using it so the bathroom got demolished and melted in 2008. Imagine sitting on the golden toilet and showering in a golden tub.
Compact bathroom design
Some people don’t have enough space in their bathrooms to install a bathtub, toilet and a shower head. They don’t want their space to be overcrowded with devices and gadgets. That’s why many prefer optimizing their spaces by introducing some new design solutions. This “Swiss army knife” type of a bathroom is great for small apartments and houses. The concept of a fold-up vertical bathroom combines two showerheads, toilet seat, sink and some storage space. You can install this bathroom in your house for nine thousand British pounds. It is a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it.
